Easter Preparation, 2007
Jack is finally old enough to actively assist in egg coloring and decorating at Nana and Boompa's house.

Boompa helps him hold the spoon while Jack picks up the cooked white egg and places it on the spoon. Boompa then helps him lower it into the cup of egg dye. Boompa's hand on the spoon keeps Jack from satisfying his desire to drop the egg into the cup from various heights.

After an appropriate time, Boompa retrieves the colored egg with the spoon. Then Jack takes the egg with his hand and places it into the egg carton to dry.

Nana and Boompa switch places so that she and Jack can place decorative stickers on the colored eggs.

It is difficult to observe, but Jack's fingers have become a dull greyish blue-green from handling the colored eggs while wet.

Nana and Jack count all 23 eggs. Ah ... Boompa had to eat one, to make sure they were cooked sufficiently!!

A serious Jack can't be fooled into taking his "annual egg photo." He knows that it isn't Holy Saturday. (He's one smart kid!! Actually, he is absorbed with Max and Ruby

What's Jack doing in that third picture? Flashing gang signs or something? ;)
Looks like you had fun with the egg coloring.
I was checking out the easter pics from April 2006 and I got a kick out the one of Jack at the food blessing. Was that his Kill Bill outfit? ;)
How Cute...though I don't think those are gang signs...more like the OK sign in sign language. Happy Belated Easter to all from the Shachter Family
